What makes this scenario so unique, is the fact that it took place on a film set instead. Alexandra Daddario was still in her audition phase at this point, working a screentest alongside Zac Efron for 'Baywatch'. It was at that point, that the two stars were asked to completely improvise. They did just that and in addition, the exchange was so good, that they decided to use it in the actual film.

Alexandra Daddario And Zac Efron Became Close During 'Baywatch'

They did many interviews during their press tour promoting 'Baywatch' alongside one another. It was obvious, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario shared great chemistry off the set, so much so that they were constantly linked with one another.

Alexandra admits, shooting scenes with Zac wasn't easy. As she revealed alongside Us Magazine, his physique was next level at that point.

“Early on, I had to do a scene where I had to flirt with him and touch his waist,” she recalled. “It was sort of like a — I wasn’t prepared. It was like an animalistic shock went through me. I don’t know. He’s, like, not human. He’s like something Michelangelo carved. I’ve never seen a man that looks like him. It’s incredible.”

In addition to the dating rumors, Daddario spoke out, stating that she was flattered by the speculation more than anything else, "It’s only happened a couple of times, but it happens. The fact that people think that I can get someone as hot as Zac Efron, it’s cool, I feel like I’m getting back at all the boys in high school that wouldn’t date me."

Well, turns out Alexandra was flattered by a particular moment that took place on the Baywatch set, early on when the two had just met.

Zac Efron Got Caught 'Sneaking A Peek' During Alexandra Daddario's Audition

Alexandra Daddario had just finished up auditioning, and at this point, she hadn't got the role just yet. It was down to herself and five other women, at this point, they were all doing screen tests alongside Efron, to see who had the best chemistry alongside the Hollywood heartthrob.

The scenes were completely unscripted, which promoted this hilarious moment when that actually made the film! Alexandra would start off by saying, "did you look at my boobs?" Daddario would continue the scene by saying, "you should look at my face," only for Efron to respond, "but it's so close to your face."

The hilarious moment which was completely acted at the moment made the film. Zac admitted, he wasn't sure if he intended on starring at Alexandra's chest area but nonetheless, it made for quite the moment.

Fans agree, the chemistry between the two is quite obvious.

"I can't dislike Zac. For someone successful and ridiculously good looking he seems very humble."

As great as Zac was during the interviews and in the films, it was a different story behind the scenes.

Zac Efron Had A Rough Time Behind The Scenes During 'Baywatch'

"I don’t ever want to be in that good a shape again."

Those were Zac Efron's words behind the scenes on 'Baywatch'. Sure, the actor looked insane, however, behind the scenes, he wasn't quite feeling the same way and in reality, the opposite.

Zac was completely depriving himself, staying away from carbohydrates, while training extremely hard as well.

Alongside Men's Health, the actor showed remorse for his physique and what it took to get there.

"You’re working with no wiggle-room. You’ve got water under your skin which you’re worrying about making your six-pack into a four-pack."

"It’s just stupid. It’s not real. I’m happy that it worked and that it got me through it. I may do it again if it was something worthwhile, but I would wait until it gets to that."

"Take care of your heart, take care of your brain. You’re good."

At the very least, putting the troubles he went through to obtain such a look, he managed to create some real lasting bonds with his co-stars.
