Wendy Williams once said that Bey sounds like a fifth grader, which people thought was the reason she stopped doing interviews in 2013. That or her bizarre 2008 interview with Tyra Banks, as others quipped.

Why Did Beyoncé Stop Doing Interviews?
It's unclear why Beyoncé stopped doing interviews. But she might have explained it in her 2013 documentary, Life Is But a Dream where she opened up about the struggles of being famous.
"When I first started out, there was no internet — people taking pictures of you and putting your personal life, or exploiting your personal life as entertainment. I think people are so brainwashed," she said in a scene.
"You get up in the morning, you click on the computer, you see all these pictures and … all you think of is the picture and the image that you see all day, every day, and you don't see the human form," she continued, adding that she wanted her work separate from her personal life.
"And I think when Nina Simone put out music, you loved her voice. That's what she wanted you to love, that was her instrument," she said. "But you didn't get brainwashed by her day-to-day life, and what her child is wearing, and who she's dating, and, you know, all the things that really … is not your business. And it shouldn't influence the way you listen to the voice and the art. But it does."

How Did Beyoncé Prepare For Her Interview With Tyra Banks?
Speaking to Buzzfeed about her favorite Tyra Show guest, the former Victoria's Secret Angel said she "loved, loved, loved Beyoncé coming on The Tyra Show." She even revealed that the Diva performer was "such a perfectionist" about her episodes.
"She would come all the time," Banks recalled. "When Beyoncé came, she'd come two hours before the show started and damn near stayed two hours after it was over, looking at tape and making sure everything was okay. She was such a perfectionist. She needed all that time and I gave it to her."
She continued: "She didn't know I was looking at her, but I got to see her rehearsing, and telling her crew to do this and do that. Back in the day, people thought Beyoncé was just like 'Yes, ma'am. I'm from Houston and I'm just so nice and happy.' She is a nice girl, but she's a business woman and I got to see why she's so successful."
The Dancing with the Stars host added that Bey "knew lighting, sound, every single thing...so, she was fun. And she always did something a little extra, crazy on my show, which was fun."

What Did Beyoncé Really Feel About Her Bizarre Interview With Tyra Banks?
In an interview with E! News, Banks told Adrienne Bailon and Justin Sylvester that Bey actually "loved" their pun-filled interview in 2008. "She liked to have fun," shared the model-turned-entrepreneur. "So we were like, 'OK, you wanna have fun? Let's go.' And she just loved the crazy stuff that we would do."
The two are also friends in real life. In 2007, they were seen hanging out with Kimora Lee Simmons at the New York Knicks-New Jersey Nets game at Madison Square Garden.
Banks probably has the same relationship with Miley Cyrus whom she gifted a portrait of herself for her 16th birthday. Although that was also a cringe-worthy scene on the Tyra Show, the SMiZE & DREAM founder hosted the Hannah Montana alum's Sweet 16 celebration at Disneyland.
Banks couldn't even contain herself at that time. While onstage, she gushed about being chosen to host the event, exclaiming: "That's right, MEEEEEEE!" She went on to have a brief shoe fight scene with Cyrus on Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.
In 2016, Cyrus also sent Banks a cute congratulatory gift when the latter welcomed her son Yorks Banks Asla with her ex Erik Asla via surrogate. "Your Congratulations Balloons are HUGE and on our stairway, @mileycyrus," the model wrote alongside an image of the thoughtful gift. "We're looking at them now like, 'Whoa! They're so cool!'
