Looks institutional rather than residential.

It looks like a building to be used as City Hall.

If it was only located somewhere besides St. Louis.

Don't forget you also have to pay for the upkeep and security of the private street.

The house, aside from the kitchen, is gorgeous. The furnishings are tragic.

What makes this “The Nabisco Manision?” Nabisco was not based in St. Louis.

St. Louis' private streets

Are private streets like a gated community?

Either way, if you can afford that mansion you can afford the street, unlike poors like R5.

The mansions on Avenue Foch in Paris have their own sidewalks in front of them as well, R5. I don't think the residents there have any issues.

I dunno. I love the pseudo-Inglenook on the ground floor. But the rest of the public rooms suffer from being decorated by someone who had ADHD, a meth problem or just straight up poor taste. Nothing matches and you’ve got busy rugs thrown in rooms with busy wallpaper.

The private areas of the home on the first and second floor look less like a home and more like a tubercular sanitarium.

You do realize, don't you, R20, that no one would be buying the house for the furnishings?

We had a Tasteful Friends in the past month or so on this same house.

My same observation: this house is 2X the size of any of the neighboring houses. The proportion of house to land is off, compared to the other houses.

I wonder if they sold off some of the original property.
