Sean Holmes Obituary, Death Cause – The identity of the two people who were killed in a horrific accident in Andrews on Sunday have now been released, and our hearts are heavy as we do so. Sean Holmes, age 17, and Daimone Brockington, age 28, both of Andrews, have been identified as the victims by the Georgetown County Coroner, Chase Ridgeway. Sean Holmes was taken to Grand Strand Medical Center, but regrettably, despite the best efforts of the medical staff there, he was unable to recover from the injuries he had there and passed away. At the time he arrived at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Daimone Brockington had already passed away.
On Thursday, autopsies will be performed at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), with the goals of obtaining additional information and gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the death. We ask that you remember the Holmes and Brockington families in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. They have just lost loved ones. The suffering they are going through is beyond comprehension, and the impact that this terrible event has had on their lives will be indelible.
