Cher deserved Record of the Year but only won Best Dance Recording (her first and only Grammy).

I wonder why she didn't get to sing her big hit.

All songs are quite good pop tracks, and still memorable. I go with Livin' La Vida Loca because of its marvelous production, but Believe would be a worthy winner too.

Believe was the number one selling single for the year (1999).

The world, or anyway America, hit a sort of plateau in the late '90s that was sustained for about 10 years, then started sliding down with the Great Recession (and the onset of social media) and fell off a cliff about 2014. We're still falling.

I'm curious to ask R9's age. I believe most DL posters feel the same.
