Laura Taylor Obituary, Death Cause – Laura Taylor, one of my dear friends, went away suddenly. I’m still in shock about this. It was she who first inspired me to take up creating. Laura and her husband Greg lived a few doors down in the neighborhood when I first got married and we bought our first house at the age of 24. Each of us made buddies. When our kids were born, they became our pals and playmates. Our children were at each other’s houses all the time. I started scrapbooking because of Laura. We had the finest time at the weekend scrapbook retreats. We met a ton of new people.
I maintain contact with a considerable number of them. Following Laura’s death, her spouse contacted me regarding her art materials. He asked if I would like her art equipment, saying they were going through a difficult time and had everything packaged up. My reply was, “Yes, without a doubt!” This last evening, when I was looking through some of stuff, I discovered our scrapbook retreat items from Croptoberfest 2002 right on top. At that moment, I realized I was meant to get this material. She obviously wanted me to have it so I could use it to bless other people.
I appreciate you teaching me how to save the memories my family will have, my dear buddy. I also want to thank my lovely pal for all of our shared moments. The day we loaded her vehicle with all our art supplies and drove to the mountains in October with our buddies was the one we looked forward to the most. This is the card we created to distribute during the get-to-know-you portion of the event. True friends are those who live next door. I am grateful to Greg Taylor for this priceless present to honor my dear buddy.
