John Combs Obituary, Death – In the aftermath of a brief battle with illness, John Paul Combs, who had been residing in Cottageville, West Virginia, and had reached the age of 72 at the time of his passing, passed away on November 20, 2023, at his residence. To be more specific, she was born on August 15, 1951 in Millwood, which is located in the state of West Virginia. Both of his parents, James Edgar Combs and Kathryn Farra Combs, had previously taken their own lives before to the birth of their son.
In addition to his parents, his half-sisters Emma Jean Drennen and Norma Ruth Wetzel had also departed away before he entered this world. Before he passed away, he was the last member in his family to do so. Although he was not yet born, both of his parents had already passed away.
In 1969, he graduated from Ravenswood High School, which he had attended throughout his high school career. He was a member of the class of 1969. An Associate’s degree was earned by this individual from West Virginia University in Parkersburg, where they attended classes and acquired their certification.
He retired from two different places of employment: Ames True Temper in Parkersburg and Constellium in Ravenswood. Both of these places were located in Wisconsin. Every single one of these establishments? One of his favorite things to do was to go hunting, and another was to spend time going outside. Angela Hunter, his daughter, and John, his son, both of whom reside in Ravenswood, are his children and are among those who survived him. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Karen Combs of Millwood and Kathryn Ann Combs of Millwood; his half-brother, David C. (May) Combs Sr. of Vienna, West Virginia; and two grandchildren.
His brothers, Thomas W. (Grace) Combs of Cottageville and James C. (Anna Mae) Combs of Millwood, are also among those who survive him. There will be a memorial ceremony held at the Casto Funeral Home in Evans, West Virginia on November 24, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon. The date and time of the service have not yet been determined. The deceased will be honored with a memorial service that will take place in the Otterbein Cemetery in Evans, West Virginia. Visitors will be able to pay their respects at the funeral home on Friday beginning at eleven in the morning and continuing until the start of the service.
