It’s watched by more than 110 million people, and one of the biggest questions is if Justin Bieber will be at the Super Bowl joining Usher. The R&B legend will be taking to the stage on February 11, 2024, during the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers and anticipation is at an all-time high.
Rihanna performed at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show and debuted her glorious baby bump for the audience—118.7 million to be exact, the largest in Halftime show history. Apparently, she was on the fence about performing after the birth of her first child but later caved in. “I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,” she revealed in a pre-show press conference.
But Rihanna said that becoming a mom gave her the energy to take on the big event, especially with her nine-month-old son watching. “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she said. “It’s important for my son to see that.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Umbrella” singer spoke about how the Super Bowl 2023 was a “now or never” opportunity. “Nothing would have gotten me out of the house if it wasn’t a challenge like that,” she said. “You could get real comfortable being at home as a mom, [so this is] challenging myself to do something that I’ve never done before in my career. I have to live up to that challenge.”

Per sources to TMZ, Usher has talked to Justin Bieber about performing at the Super Bowl together. The gossip site said, “Usher reached out to Bieber about performing. We’re told there were no handlers involved on either side … they talked directly to each other.”
Usher has been a pivotal figure in Justin Bieber’s career. The “Confessions” singer helped jumpstart the Canadian singer’s career when he was 13 as he signed him to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG), a joint venture alongside Scooter Braun.
Usher appeared on “Somebody To Love” on Bieber’s album Never Say Never (The Remixes) and they performed “OMG” together at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

He posted the news on his Instagram stories with the following statement: “After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio, and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.” He continued, “After getting off the stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.” He added, “I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this. I love you all passionately.”
He previously postponed his tour after he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome in June 2022. He posted on his Instagram stories, “This is pretty serious as you can see,” he said as he showed his inability to wink or partially move his face. “I wish this wasn’t the case. But obviously, my body is telling me I need to slow down.” A source revealed to Us Weekly on June 15, 2022, that “Hailey has been an absolute rock. She’s by his side for whatever he needs, as are his other close friends and family. [He] has every faith this will resolve itself eventually, but of course, it’s a stressful situation to be dealing with and a tough time for both of them right now.”
Since then, Bieber has performed at one-off events like the NHL All-Star Weekend the week before the Super Bowl.
