The biggest sporting event in the world is starting in seven days, and whether you’ll be on the ground in Brazil (you lucky bastard) or following the World Cup from home, Google Maps has some goodies in store for you.
If you’re travelling to Brazil next month, Google Maps for Android will be your best friend – the app gives you access to transit information for all twelve host cities, indoor maps for over a hundred locations, from tournament stadiums to airports, and full turn-by-turn navigation across the country.
If you just want to keep track of your team’s evolution, fire up Google Now – functionality that is currently rolling out will let you ask Google about upcoming matches, group standings, and results.
