How's he doing these days? Will he make it through 2013?
| by Anonymous | reply 71 | June 2, 2018 12:03 PM |
Is he a bottom man or a top guy? Anybody knows?
| by Anonymous | reply 1 | January 4, 2013 6:43 PM |
I played Amazing yesterday. What a great song that is.What a declaration of gay male love. Unfortunately, he screws it up with his drug use and his cruising.
Is he HIV poz? Did he ever get tested tested? I know he feared getting tested. I hope he makes ugh 2013.
| by Anonymous | reply 2 | January 4, 2013 6:44 PM |
he makes it through 2013.
| by Anonymous | reply 3 | January 4, 2013 6:50 PM |
He was over in 1988. Don't hang on to the past.
| by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 4, 2013 7:46 PM |
This is probably my favourite George Michael song. It's really imposing and so touching.

He's the gay singer we all love. Who would've guessed it?
| by Anonymous | reply 7 | January 4, 2013 8:23 PM |
Unfortunately R7, i found out that a lot of gay men resent him and i don't know why. Really, what he did to them?
| by Anonymous | reply 8 | January 4, 2013 8:25 PM |
He wails, oh how he wails like he is giving birth, and the styled eyebrows have a life of their own.
| by Anonymous | reply 9 | January 4, 2013 8:28 PM |
Overrated, his music is too 80s and has not aged well at all. Plus he has a very femme singing voice.
| by Anonymous | reply 11 | January 4, 2013 9:29 PM |
He had to cancel a few shows at the end of his re-started tour and said he hadn't really addressed his issues and he was silent on Twitter for about 2 months, but he said his bf said people were worried about his so he sent Tweets around Xmas that he's doing well and looking forward to new music in 2013.
| by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 4, 2013 9:31 PM |
He always talks about how he's going to release new music, but never does. All he's put out was some boring song called White Light last year that flopped.
| by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 5, 2013 12:44 AM |
He is so ridiculously talented. His lyrics are deep and beautiful. He has a nice voice. He has so much talent to share still, and seems like such a tortured soul.
| by Anonymous | reply 15 | January 5, 2013 12:52 AM |
I'm amazed how the voice has seemingly been preserved despite his daily pot habit, amongst other habits.
| by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 5, 2013 1:12 AM |
Poor chart performance isn't a George Michael problem. Not many over 40 year olds break the top 40 singles pop charts. The drivers of music are younger and they go for young artists usually.
George's writing abilities are still good. I think what has been lacking is a capable producer to add exciting music to enhance the lyrics.
| by Anonymous | reply 17 | January 5, 2013 1:59 AM |
Freaky, R2 - I was listening to 'Amazing' as I clicked onto this thread.
| by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 5, 2013 2:12 AM |
George Michael is a really good pop musician. Cut it out guys.
| by Anonymous | reply 19 | January 5, 2013 1:49 PM |
I don't know why, but I've always thought that he'd make a good dad and should've had a few kids since he seems so nice and easy going. I've always felt that all the crap he's been doing the last decade with these trashy boyfriends, drugs, and cruising parks is a way to fill up some emptiness inside him and that a having a family of his own might have filled that void and brought him some real happiness.
Yes, I know: MARY!

In an old interview he said that what he loved was sucking cock. Didn't even mention anal.
| by Anonymous | reply 22 | January 5, 2013 2:15 PM |
I love his 'Older' album - an essential for every gay man's ipod.
He seems quite well now, and is probably enjoying the new lover's rather large appendage every night ... as per those vids of him (the lover guy) in action.
| by Anonymous | reply 23 | January 5, 2013 3:33 PM |
R24--he's bf is an Aussie former former porn star who is quite attractive. He seems to be very loyal and loving towards George.

love him. always have and always will.
| by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 5, 2013 3:55 PM |
I read an interview where he said that his near death brush with pneumonia made him appreciate life and want to get back to his talent of songwriting, so look for more music ahead!
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | January 5, 2013 3:59 PM |
His last tour sold out in forty five minutes.
I would think some people care.

And the money George brings in

With his lover Fadi Fawaz in Venice

I still like his music... but I was a child of the 80's.
George has sort of lead the sterotypical diva life. It's odd that gay men accept this from female popstars and divas, but from George there is so much hatred.
| by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 5, 2013 5:10 PM |
Yes Zak, how sad! Gays can be huge bitches.
| by Anonymous | reply 35 | January 5, 2013 5:56 PM |
R34 Where George was different in that he fancied himself as an artiste at some point. He wanted to be taken seriously for his art not his appearance etc so on. at one point he wasn't evening appearing in his videos at some point. He kept on the same musical whoring at some point, drugging and cruising so he deserved at least some of the derision he received.
I wonder if he indulges in threesomes like his friends David and Elton, who are threesome queens.Maybe they've all ended up in bed together.
| by Anonymous | reply 36 | January 5, 2013 6:24 PM |
News and gay gossip....yes Elton and David hire pron stars as a third partner ,you didn't know? Now you do,honey. George and Elton are so close so it stands to reason that George joined in on the fun!
| by Anonymous | reply 39 | January 5, 2013 6:37 PM |
George was so beautiful in his youth.

Another one of George in the 80s.

never was a George Micheals fan but I wish him all the best. it's hard enough to be well known and a perfect saint, but hell, any misstep is magnified out of proportion, and often. I'm sure knowing he's gay helped plenty of queer kids get through rough patches.
| by Anonymous | reply 43 | January 6, 2013 1:11 AM |
A supposed straight friend of mine(male of course) said "you mean the gorgeous one?", when I mentioned George Michael. That made me think that he wasn't so straight anymore!
| by Anonymous | reply 44 | January 6, 2013 4:13 AM |
[quote]I'm sure knowing he's gay helped plenty of queer kids get through rough patches.
OK, I love George Michael's music, but in no way did I find him inspirational in terms of accepting I was gay. I was in high school when he got caught cruising that Beverly Hills park and was on drugs, so I didn't exactly look to him for a positive gay role model.
| by Anonymous | reply 45 | January 6, 2013 4:52 AM |
Wow, George's bf is very well-endowed. I'm surprised George can walk without a limp.
| by Anonymous | reply 46 | January 6, 2013 8:58 AM |
R36, having lived in London the last 16 years, I have to say I think a lot of that pressure was brought on by the British tabloids, who had a field day during Wham! (from their start) and carried on with George into his solo career. This was the '80s, pre-internet, and I think that really coloured his perspective on how he was being received, I think that's what he was really responding too and I think that's why it seemed so OTT in the States, as less of a response to something relevant and tangible, and more the actions of some self-involved diva.
I also think as much as George loved his mother - unquestionably - the dynamic between them must've left him with some emotional problems, certainly a lack of self worth. And all those years in the closet, once again, must've been a bit soul destroying.
I don't think anyone admired how he came out of the closet but I think a lot of people admired how he handled it after and emerged as his true self, sense of humor present and intact, and not afraid to be critical or have a point of view.
| by Anonymous | reply 47 | January 6, 2013 9:33 AM |
Actually Fadi Fawaz seems bi to me. I don't think he is gay. What do you think guys?
| by Anonymous | reply 49 | January 6, 2013 11:31 AM |
George i hope you release soon a new album. You have been so talented, we want you back. Do your best. If you could use some jazzy tunes in somes of your new songs like you did with 'Older' for example, it would be sensational!
| by Anonymous | reply 50 | January 6, 2013 11:59 AM |
r49, Fadi's a hair burner and a former gay porn star who's self-identified as gay on his twitter. He's pretty damn gay, not bi.
| by Anonymous | reply 51 | January 6, 2013 12:35 PM |
[quote]Fadi's a hair burner and a former gay porn star who's self-identified as gay on his twitter
that still doesn't mean anything, stop jumping to conclusions!
| by Anonymous | reply 53 | January 6, 2013 1:18 PM |
I am not convinced of Fadi's gayness, either.
| by Anonymous | reply 54 | January 6, 2013 1:24 PM |
He is hot either he is gay or not...
| by Anonymous | reply 55 | January 6, 2013 1:35 PM |
Because he's hot, he shouldn't be gay even if he says he is, right?
| by Anonymous | reply 56 | January 6, 2013 1:38 PM |
George's career all comes down to his one big year, 1988. After that, nothing.
| by Anonymous | reply 57 | January 6, 2013 1:40 PM |
R56 you got it wrong! I didn't mean that. There are a lot of gays who are extemely hot and ridiculously beautiful. Rock Hudson, Ricky Martin, Thom Bierdz, and many many others and you know that! It just passed my mind that Fadi seems bi and that doesn't mean he is more or less sexy than other men. It just happens to be hot.
| by Anonymous | reply 58 | January 6, 2013 1:57 PM |
There should be a special word for Fadi. Not gay for pay BUT a gay for pay goldigger! That's it. He stands to inherit all of George's millions if he licks, sucks, fucks that man for all he's worth.
Oh and Fadi is the one who is bow legged these days not George!
| by Anonymous | reply 59 | January 6, 2013 6:06 PM |
But but but R59 someone in here implied that George is a bottom guy. You contradict that?
| by Anonymous | reply 60 | January 6, 2013 6:11 PM |
Are they under George's bed? In George and Ken's relationship George was the dominant one on down the line. I don't think GM was bottoming for his Brazilian lover who died of Aids either.
| by Anonymous | reply 61 | January 6, 2013 6:17 PM |
I doubt Fadi's a golddigger. He's a sought-after stylist with a solid career that predates his relationship with George. He's been Katherine Jenkins's personal stylist for years.
| by Anonymous | reply 62 | January 6, 2013 7:34 PM |
Fadi does hair for people like Emily Blunt I get that. However he's not a gazillionaire like George Michael is. Not even close. That's like saying that David Furnish is just as successful monetarily as Elton John is!
| by Anonymous | reply 63 | January 6, 2013 9:41 PM |
A friend had sent me a video from one of his last concerts. He's looking a lot better, he must have read DL when 15 people in one thread said he needed to let his hair grow out. He also looks to be in better shape than before.
| by Anonymous | reply 64 | January 6, 2013 10:16 PM |
Also, I have good gossip, but not the time to try to write it while on my phone. I'll post it later
| by Anonymous | reply 65 | January 6, 2013 10:17 PM |
Let's have it, r64/r65. We've had good George Michael gossip around here. When he was ill in the hospital and the press was told that he was improving, someone showed up here saying they knew he was in kidney failure and near death. Turned out to be true.
| by Anonymous | reply 66 | January 7, 2013 12:33 AM |
I think he's beautiful---and very human like all of us....definitely no flash in the pan...people will be talking about him for years. As for his HIV status, it's not really anyone's business. Just close your eyes, look beyond his humanity, and enjoy his inspired and beautiful voice. I love him....an extremely sensitive and talented man....and as for his love interests, not everyone is interested in money--there are some gay men who believe in real love. God Bless Him

Kevin, dear, take it down a notch.
I say that as someone who adores George Michael and wishes him well in all things.

It just wasn’t in the cards for George Michael to find peace on this earth.
