Season four and season five of the popular Netflix reality series Selling Sunset were filmed back to back in 2021. At the end of season four, there was a preview of what was to come in season five. Of course we all know Chrishell Stause's relationship with her boss, Jason Oppenheim, will be a massive part of the season, but what else do we know about what's to come on the series?

Season four was all about drama between Christine Quinn and the rest of the members of the Oppenheim group, and we fully expect that drama to continue into season five. Then of course, there was the announcement of the opening of an Orange County branch of the company, which will most likely be shown on the new season, as well.
6 Chrishell Stause And Jason Oppenheim's Relationship
Obviously season five will be dealing with the romance between Stause and Oppenheim as it was at the forefront of the preview they showed at the end of season four. The two announced their coupling over the summer of 2021 when they were on vacation together overseas. The two announced their breakup towards the end of 2021, saying that they will remain good friends and still have a mutual respect for one another. They broke up because Stause intends to have a family someday and Oppenheim could not offer her that.
5 Orange County Oppenheim Group Office Opening
The Oppenheim Group opened an office in Orange County last year and with the announcement of that opening shared in the final episode of season four, they will likely show the grand opening of that office in season five. For those who aren't aware, Netflix is actually planning a spin-off of Selling Sunset about the Orange County offices, run by Jason's twin brother, Brett Oppenheim. The spin-off is called Selling The OC. Variety revealed that three women set to star on the spin-off include Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria and Brandi Marshall.

4 Drama With Christine Quinn
Obviously the season four finale featured a ton of drama between Quinn and the rest of the Oppenheim Group. The final scene of the season featured a dramatic show-down between Quinn and several of the women at the Oppenheim Group at a party thrown by the Oppenheim twins. Quinn felt that she was being attacked by the women from the group by calling her out for all of her lies and the trauma that she caused all of them by her behavior over the years. Heather Rae Young left the party in a fit of anger with her fiancé Tarek El Moussa, while Mary Fitzgerald tried to have a one on one discussion with Quinn. Quinn refused to admit she had done anything wrong, which angered the women even more. Stause claimed that Quinn attempted to spread false rumors about her to the media, which would have ruined her reputation, while each of the other women from the group each had their own gripes with Quinn.
3 Heather's Wedding
Selling Sunset cast member Heather Rae Young got married last year around the time they were filming season five of the series. Hopefully we will see some of the wedding on the series or at the very least some wedding preparation. We know the women of Selling Sunset attended a bridal shower for Young that was very fancy and very well decorated, as they all posted about it on their social media accounts.

2 The Addition Of Chelsea Laskani
Selling Sunset has added another realtor to the group as well as the show. Her name is Chelsea Laskani and she seems to have been embraced really well by all of the Oppenheim women. She is African American and will add some much-needed diversity to the mostly white cast. In an Instagram post announcing her addition to the series, Laskani said that she was "so grateful for everyone involved, the list is long and you know who you are. The laughs, the lux, the drama, it's all there in season 5 and I can't wait for you all to see it!" Hernan, super excited for Laskani's addition to the team, posted about her addition to the group as well and stated "we just leveled up for season 5, get ready!"
1 Lots Of Cool Listings
Several of the Oppenheim Group members have shared on social media that they will see some of their cool new listings in season five, including Emma Hernan. She stated in an Instagram post recently that she couldn't wait to share a certain listing with all of us in the new season of the show and that it was "very special for a few reasons" and that we will have to tune in to see why that is. She also included a little winky face emoji just to tease all of us. Mary Fitzgerald also made a post recently stating that she couldn't wait for us all to see "all of the incredible real estate" in the upcoming new season and she also asked fans what they were hoping to see on the show.
