Donald Mack Obituary, Death Cause – Sadly, we must inform you of the demise of one of our most treasured volunteers, Donald Mack, who was lovingly referred to as Donnie. It is with a sad heart that we offer this news. We said our final goodbyes to a devoted member of our community who had been with us for almost ten years on a Monday that was filled with feelings of sadness. It was nothing short of astonishing that Donnie, who was 71 years old at the time, remained constant in his dedication to our cause. The fact that he would always be the last person to descend from the mountain,
despite his advanced age, was a testament to his tenacity and served as an example to all of us. A desire that powered his spirit was demonstrated by the fact that he was able to maintain the energy to attend races even after a day of rigorous activity. In the cemetery, Donnie had complete control. Because he understood that the best way to win a race is to do things slowly and steadily, he became a reliable member of our squad. There were only a few Saturdays that he missed during the course of his life, and even during the winter months,
when there were less opportunities for gatherings, he would still make the effort to be with us. In addition to his unwavering commitment, Donnie was a genuine friend to each and every one of us. Because he was approachable and had a sense of humor that was contagious, he made every contact a pleasure. The lack of his presence has created an incalculable hole. Donnie, until the day when we are reunited, we will always keep your memories close to our hearts. Dear buddy, may you finally find rest.
