Jennifer Lopez Has A History Of Being A Tough Boss With Her Employees

Jennifer Lopez has a bit of a history when it comes to former employees... Just ask the long list of nannies she once employed. Although J-Lo was paying a premium for their services, it is said that the nannies became extremely overworked.

The National Enquirer reported that days were at times 16-hours long for the nannies, “Normally people who make huge sums of money and have loads of professional and social obligations hire a nanny for each child, especially for newborns. But it is as if Jennifer expects one nanny not only to take care of both twins, but to work 16-hour days, seven days a week," the publication stated.

J-Lo also got into with her makeup artist and agent in the past. Oh, and let's not forget her chauffeur, who attempted to extort J-Lo for extra money, threatening to speak out about family secrets. Lopez was having none of it, counter-suing for $20 million in damages...

Now this story didn't get as controversial, though according to the German maid, she lost her job over the incident.

German Maid Pray Dodaj Claims To Have Been Fired After Requesting An Autograph From Jennifer Lopez

To be clear, there are different sides to the story. The hotel has its story, J-Lo and her people released their thoughts, while the maid in question Pray Dodaj also released her side of what had taken place.

According to Dodaj, all she was doing ultimately, was trying to muster up the courage and ask Lopez for an autograph, given that she's a huge fan.

Pray revealed alongside a German tabloid that the move cost her big time, "I am an incredibly big fan so I took all my courage and rang the bell to get an autograph."

"A day later the cleaning company that employed me at the hotel called and said that Ms. Lopez had complained," she continued. "I was fired right there on the phone. Because of an autograph."

The hotel itself was none too pleased with the statement, taking J-Lo's side over what had taken place.

They wrote, "Fact is Mrs. Dodaj did not at any time have direct or personal contact with Jennifer Lopez. At no time, either Ms. Lopez personally, or her staff, or the Hotel, asked for the termination of Mrs. Bete Dodaj's contract," the statement reads. "The group was by any account pleased with the hotel and its services and was very pleasant, friendly and courteous."

J-Lo herself issued a statement while other details were also revealed by TMZ.

Jennifer Lopez Denied The Story But Revealed There Was An Altercation

According to TMZ, there might've been more to the story and it didn't involve an autograph. Instead, it is said that J-Lo and her team had privacy concerns, when a maid decided to bust open the door of her hotel room.

"Sources close to Lopez tell TMZ ... there WAS an incident involving a maid, but it didn't involve an autograph. We're told the maid had "barged" into the room unannounced ... and the singer's security immediately gave her the boot out of concern for the singer's safety."

Lopez herself would briefly address the situation, stating she'd never snub a fan, nor would she get someone fired.

"C'mon thought you knew me better than this.. Would never get anyone fired over an autograph."

Who really knows what went down, though it is hard to imagine Lopez losing her cool over an autograph request.
