That's what Britney Spears said over the phone to a judge this week in the ongoing trial regarding her conservatorship case. That means every decision about Britney's professional and personal life for the past 13 years (even decisions about whether she can have kids, thanks to an IUD the star doesn't have permission to remove) has been made by her dad and his legal team.

She's a 39 year old multi-millionaire with no independent access to her own money, her own car, or even her own friends. Now she's being given a turn to speak in court, and Britney's voice is shocking fans in more ways than one.

There's no denying that Britney's words are heartbreaking in and of themselves. In the full recording of her testimony, the star details how her father and his team forced and threatened her in ways that made her feel "enslaved" and "like I was dead." She says they made her do her Las Vegas Residency and her 2018 World Tour when she wanted and needed a break.

"All I want is to own my money and for this to end and for my boyfriend to drive me in his f*****g car," Britney shared to the judge. "And I would honestly like to sue my family to be totally honest with you."
