I never said the Cosby Show wasn't important, I did say some of us didn't grow up with it as our main form of entertainment. The last thing I remember about that show was when Raven-Symoné was on it and Cousin Pam came to live with them and I think I only remember that from reruns.

Sorry to tell you this since it wasn't clear the first time, but instead of accepting that people were born after you and the idea that they may have seen the world differently because the world was quite honestly different when they were growing up, you're arguing that these shows were more important.

I didn't say they weren't.

I said that Full House, as people keep saying on here, held a significant place in the mental lexicons of a group of people that grew up at a certain time in history and that's why "Danny Tanner" was so important to them. Not that the show was good or that he was the greatest character ever created or that the show was historically impactful in the scheme of things but to this group, the show was ever present. You telling people how they should "FEEL" is so nonsensical. There's a place and time for facts and one for feelings.
