Alexandra Healy Obituary, Death Cause – On September 19, 2023, the world bid a tearful farewell to a beloved soul, Alexandra Alford Healy. Surrounded by her loving family and friends, Alexandra’s journey on this earth came to an end at the young age of 24. Her passing leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be a source of joy and inspiration. Born on December 18, 1998, Alexandra was a bright and vibrant presence in the lives of all who knew her. She embarked on her educational journey at Our Lady Academy in Bay St. Louis, where she laid the foundation for a remarkable life. Alexandra’s pursuit of knowledge led her to Louisiana State University, where she proudly became a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Her dedication to her studies and her commitment to her sorority sisters were a testament to her character.
In her earlier years, Alexandra was a cheerleader for St. Stanislaus and Our Lady Academy. She displayed her athleticism and precision as a member of the Our Lady Archery Team. A true leader, she founded the Art Club during her time at Our Lady Academy, leaving a lasting impact on her school community. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devout member of St. James Church in Gulfport, Mississippi. Her spirituality guided her through life’s ups and downs, offering her solace and strength. Alexandra’s love for life was evident in her pursuit of various interests, from gymnastics to dancing. However, her fondest memories were often made in the company of her cherished friends, and her time at Desoto Camp in Mentone, Alabama, was particularly special to her.
Alexandra is survived by her loving family, who will forever hold her memory close. Her mother, Rosi Nguyen Healy; her father, George W. Healy IV; her brother, Thomas Cantwell Healy; and her sister, Katherine Grace Healy, will continue to cherish the beautiful moments they shared with her. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Alexandra’s life will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at noon. Visitation will precede the service, starting at 10 am. Internment will take place at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery, and a reception for family and friends will follow at Lake Lawn Event Center.
