The problem is her eyebrowns and her raccoon eyeliner.

Also that she dyes her hair with shoe polish. If she let it be gray, and she had her brows shaped professionally and learned how to apply eye makeup, she’d be fine.

Still with the kohl around the eyes, huh, Miss Natural "Smack-Addict-Under-Bridge" Beauty?

I'd brown-eye her and Ann Coulter both!

Oh, Justine, honey bunch! I, too, had a pair of hoop earrings like the ones you're wearing in OP's picture. I thought they were wicked cool and would wear them while listening to Prince's Raspberry Beret and trying to get high on nutmeg.

Yeah but in her case she didn't look so hot to begin with.

She looks like she starved herself, smoked, and tanned excessively. That isn't typical 58-year-old wear and tear.

That said, fillers wouldn't improve anything.

If a large percentage of so-called beautiful starlets took off all their makeup they wouldn't look much different than she does. Good for her for just wanting to be her real self, not some tarted up hotsy totsy.

In fairness, I didn't guess her age. Could be a collapsed trailer-park 45, a holding-up-barely-but-bravely 65, or a solid 75.

And I like the ambiguity, and the fact her face has some character and tells a story. It's less uncanny and creepy than plastic inflated faces.

Lisa Loeb is about the same age and doesn't look like a trailer park granny. There is something Justine isn't telling us. She is aging as well (or badly) Erin Moran.

Well Justine, perhaps you could cut your hair and add a little style to it. Moisturize that face, maybe do a facial peel now and then. Okay fine, we understand you don't want to have surgery or maybe not even Botox, but you could spruce things up a bit and still be 'proud of your age and lived experience.

There is a difference between looking your age. looking pleasant and growing older gracefully...or looking like hell and you just don't care.

Everyone age’s differently. There isn’t a set look for any given age.

Also, aging naturally doesn't mean she can't use an exfoliating cleanser on her face or fix her wonky eyebrows.

That's years of hard drug use. She looks closer to 70. She didn't age naturally - she aged horribly and she's looked this bad for years and years.

I wonder if this is a (subconscious?) reaction to her brother's massive continued success in Hollywood. It's her way of feeling superior to people who play the game.

Her twin brother Jason is even more weathered than she is and it looks great on him. Life is a bitch to women

Jason isn’t her twin, R26, he’s a few years younger. He’s aged, but looks like he takes better care of his skin than his sister does hers.

Her skin is pretty bad. I have a lot of relatives who are around her age and do the bare minimum and look better.

Jason gets work done. Botox etc. You can tell. He's shiny.

Justine looks closer to 70.

Justine needs to have a talk with her brother about his hair. Even though he doesn’t appear to have fucked up his face, he looks ridiculous with his dark brown hairpiece.

R20 Her eyes was her most defining feature when she was younger. Hence the reason for the heavy eyeliner.

Hopefully she's got enough money put-away so that she doesn't have to worry about what gay men say about her face.

She was in a sitcom years ago and I already thought she was aging badly, she looked gaunt. Just checked and it was Men Behaving Badly from the mid 90s! So she’s been going down this road for a long time. Still there’s a lot she could do now without resorting to plastic surgery. Choosing to stay very slim was a choice though.

I'm almost certain that it was just filters. Within a week or two of her "debut" on Fox News with the new face, she was looking just as haggard as before. There's no way her face deflated that quickly after a procedure.

Her eating disorder, smoking and lack of eyebrow grooming and basic makeup skills are why she looks so old.

While we’re piling on, it should be noted she was a horrible actress. She owes Tina Yothers and Brian Bonsall a debt of gratitude, because they somehow got singled out…while Justine was treated like a teen queen.

Yes, she definitely needs to lay off that smoky eye liner. Makes her look like that creature Sara Gilbert is married to.

She’s never been good looking so why start faking it now with plastic parts? She’s annoying and FUG and not the talented Bateman BUT she’s authentic in her aging so I’ll give her that.

How do you recommend she update her eye makeup? Just curious since so many here seem offended by her current aesthetic.

R54 She needs to tone it down. Smoky eyes are an aging look anyway (which is why very young women love the look, as they think it makes them look sexier and more sophisticated). She shouldn't have any liner under her eyes at all, just a light line at her waterline and some very light shadow on her brow bone and some mascara on her upper lashes only.

That wouldn't fix her skin, her nasal labial folds, etc. but it would help.

Very telling that the Vanity Fair is from pretty far away. We didn't need to see muscled arms or her skinny body. The long hair isn't doing her any favors either.

Justine is compared with her brother but anyone with a sibling knows that we don't always age the same way: my younger brother has very little hair while I have plenty and his skin looks like shit but mine looks great in spite of tanning when younger. Everyone thinks that I am the younger brother.

Just compare Justine with other women her age and she looks much older and more haggard. No need to compare her with Jason.

r54 I'd recommend she go with a softer eyeliner instead of a dark black, a lipstick with more color in it and not that pearly pink 60s-era nude color, and get a haircut that had some shape, and yes, part on the side, because trends be damned, she looks terrible with her hair parted in the middle. Also a little brown powder in those thinning brows. She doesn't really look that bad, but she has terrible makeup and hair.
